Went to the Red House, Merthyr yesterday Thursday September 11th, to meet with filmmaker Richard Davies to record my poem “Peace”. My poem will be in Dreaming Flight a new art installation, featuring painting and spoken poetry which will be opened at one of Wales newest culture center Redhouse.
Redhouse was once the old Town Hall where Keir Hardie, Merthyr first Labour MP (one of my political heroes) stood on the balcony above and delivered his speech. Emily Pankhurst visited too.
A wonderful greeting and entrance.
