Walked the Rhymni Afon
Low cloud kept us company
Old relic of Ruperra Castle
stayed by our side
for a mile.
Fields of Yellowing Reap Seed
coloured our view.
River Rhymney swooned, swayed
sang a tune.
Along lanes where
fresh garlic filled the air.
I helped myself to a leaf
its taste was beyond belief.
